General
Animal Abilities
“Due to technical limitations, we haven’t been able to do what we want with direct attack Abilities. This is now improved, and this is how they will work going forward.”
- Animals will never actively attack friendlies if they can help it. But they will attack opponents, and if a friendly is in the way, they will be affected all the same.
Traps
“As with Animal Abilities, Traps also suffered from some technical limitations in their initial implementations. Now with the new tech coming with the Freeze Spike patch, we are updating the existing Traps to be more consistent with this new way to setting Traps.”
- All Traps will now be armed based on conditions, rather than a fixed set of time.
- Conditions: Colliding with terrain, landing on the ground, slowing down, etc.
